- Camp Fire Green Country
- Camp Fire is a small-group after school club that provides young people in grades K-2 with opportunities to engage in experiential learning, and to forge positive relationships that keep them safe during out-of-school time and foster social, emotional, and cognitive skills and mindsets.
- Chess Club
- The Mendez International School chess club provides students an opportunity to play friendly games of chess against their peers in a low-stress environment, as well as learning new strategies to improve their own game. Students of all levels are welcome to come, as help is given to those who need it.
- Student Government
- Student council at Mendez school has many benefits. Through a council, the students learn about community service, civics, and government in a student-friendly environment outside of their normal course work. Students also have the advantage of being agents for change in their schools and communities by being a part of student council, with their contributions often felt around the school long after they have moved on.
- Safety Patrol
- The AAA School Safety Patrol program assists students by providing. leadership, citizenship and a safe environment for children in and around our school.
In elementary grade music classes, students learn and practice the basic fundamental elements of music such as sound, melody, harmony, rhythm, and expression (dynamics, tempo, articulation). Students engage in singing, playing instruments, responding to music with movement, and connecting with various cultures through music. These classes help students develop creativity, self-expression, and problem-solving while creating music together as a team. These classes also provide students with performance opportunities, which help them develop a sense of ensemble, tolerance, perseverance, and rigor—enabling them to be well-rounded citizens of our global society.
In elementary grade art classes, students explore many different aspects of visual art. Students let their creativity flow by engaging in activities such as drawing and painting with various materials. They also learn art vocabulary, explore the work of many different artists and art movements, and learn to appreciate art as it enhances our world.

Storyline features videos of famous actors reading favorite children's stories. This website is part of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists Foundation, which provides the free videos and activity guides. New story videos are added, so keep checking in.
